How Therapy Works With Amy

I offer fee-for-service outpatient therapy.  Generally, couples therapy is not covered by insurance.  I am an out-of-network provider to ensure privacy and a more complete approach to our work together.  Some of my sessions run longer than what is allowable by insurance, providing us adequate time to create powerful shifts in your progress.

You may be eligible for some reimbursement through your health care plan's out-of-network benefits.  I can provide a super-bill to be submitted by the policy holder for these benefits.  Please note, a mental health diagnosis is required for this process.

I understand there are times a mental health diagnosis is appropriate and helpful when approaching care.  There are also many reasons you may seek therapy that are not related to a mental health disorder, but result in distressing symptoms that you are looking to relieve.​​  I am ready to help with an approach that best suites you and your goals.
